David Mcrae

David Allen McRae was born on October 9, 1955, the son of Philip and Carmelita (Vetter) McRae in Duluth, MN. He served in the U.S. Army in the Second Armored Division and was honorably discharged. On August 5, 1977, David was united in marriage to Mary Austin in Kountze, TX. He drove truck and traveled between Texas and Minnesota for 41 years. David loved to work on models, do paint by numbers, fishing, loved watching TV, especially old westerns and Army movies. Most of all, he enjoyed family get-togethers and barbecues. David died on Friday, September 6, 2019, at Valley View Manor Care Center in Lamberton, MN at the age of 67. He is survived by his wife Mary; children - Tammy Taylor, Christina Jordan, Danny (Mendi) Farr, and Timmy Mavity McRae; grandchildren - Ashley, Allison, Austin, Maranda, Kyle, Chris, Cody, Hope, Dominick, Mavrick, Thomas, Isaac, and Bradon; 7 great grandchildren; siblings - Steve, Jimmy, Peggy "Dean" Mary-Kay (Steve) and Danny.
