David Albert Firchau

David Firchau, age 77, of St. James died at his home on Sunday, February 5, 2017. In keeping with his wishes, his body will be cremated and no public service scheduled. David Albert Firchau was born in St. James on September 7, 1939, the son of Albert and Hulda (Johnson) Firchau. David worked as a mechanic. He married June Sawatzky December 28, 1958. He is survived by his wife June Firchau of St. James, children Terri (Jeff) Garland of Dayton, MN, Steve Firchau and Karen Anderson of St. James, Randy Firchau and Joan Stordalen of St. James, 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, siblings Richard Firchau of St. James, Roger Firchau of St. James, Marion (Richard) Parent of McIntosh, MN, Patsy Hemauer of Inver Grove, MN, and Darlene Harper of Virginia Beach, VA. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Betty and brothers Duane and Harland.
