David Carrison

David A. Carrison, age 51, died Sunday, March 31st at South Shore Care Center in Worthington, after a long battle with MS. David Arnold Carrison was born on February 26, 1962 in Minneapolis. He was adopted shortly after his birth by Arnold and Ardyth (Thompson) Carrison of Windom. David received much of his education in the Windom Area Schools. In 1980 he married Debra Johnson of Mt. Lake. They were blessed with four children. He began working at Moons Locker Plant in Windom, where he worked until attending Jackson Vocational School for Auto Body Repair. Following his schooling he took a job at Fenske's Mustangs in Rochester, where he lived for almost 2 years. Upon returning to the Windom Area he began work at Toro in 1986 as well as doing body work out of his garage. In 1990 he moved to Mt. Lake where he began working at the Mt. Lake Body Shop, which he later purchased and renamed Dave's Body Shop. He continued to run his own business until he was diagnosed with MS in 2002. In 2001 he and Debra were divorced. In 2005 he married Lyudmyla Ardanova from Ukraine but the couple were later divorced. David enjoyed doing auto body work, watching Nascar racing, hunting, fishing, camping, and cooking. Dave is survived by his children, Ryan (Ashley) Carrison, Sioux Falls, SD, Carissa (Daniel Cate) Carrison, Mt Lake, Tiffany (Jeffrey) Hauglid, Windom, and Brooke (Blake Spinks) Carrison of Mt. Lake, grandson, Kameron Koerner, Mt. Lake, brother: John (Marney) Carrison, Mt. Lake, God son Jeff Coners foster parents, DeWayne and Mitzi Rubedor, Duluth, ex wives; Debra and Lyudmyla, stepmother Janet Carrison, Windom, and other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Ardyth Carrison and sister, Karen Carrison. Blessed be his memory.
