Darvin Burmeister

Darvin Burmeister was born on March 27, 1928 to Peter and Sandora (Sande) Burmeister in Rock County, MN. On September 13, 1949, Darvin was united in marriage to Alice Vanderwal. Darvin farmed south of Jasper, worked for Moor Mans Feed becoming a salesman and later district manager. He started a lawn service business in the Jasper and Pipestone area after he moved to Jasper and continued it in Sanborn where he moved when he retired in 2007. Darvin enjoyed farming, horses, singing, playing golf, organ, and games of all kinds, and studying of the bible. He is survived by his wife Alice of 66 years; 4 children - Steve (Jacki) of St. Paul, Mike (Gina) of Omaha, NE, Kim (Tom) Kastner of Sanborn, MN, Tim of Seattle, WA; 7 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; sister Bev Beckman of Burnsville.
