Darold August Albrecht

Darold August Albrecht was born April 26, 1930, in Germantown Township, Cottonwood County to Ernest and Ida (Wolter) Albrecht. He was united in marriage to Leota Polzin on March 25, 1958, in Jeffers. The couple farmed near Sanborn before moving to Lamberton in 1998. Following his farming career, Darold worked for Don Hogan in construction before his full retirement. He was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church and enjoyed farming, fishing, and helping people. Darold Albrecht died Monday, October 5, 2015, at the New Ulm Medical Center. He is survived by daughter Connie of Lamberton; son Mark and wife Jean of Rock Valley, IA; grandchildren- Laura, Kelli and husband Bryian, Bethany, and Ian; and great-grandchildren- Karlie, Daemian, Alixandria, Stella, and Amylie. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Leota in 2014; son Todd in 1978; sisters- Valeria and Edna; and brother Russell.
