Darlene Hilda Irene Miller

Darlene Hilda Irene Miller was born on June 6th, 1941. She was born to Edwin and Minnie (Kueker) Miller, on the family farm near Lewisville, MN. She graduated in 1959 from St. James High School. On June 27, 1959 Darlene married David Rilea in St. James, MN. Darlene and David had 3 daughters. Darlene and David divorced in 1976. Darlene married Richard Davis on June 24, 1978. They divorced in 2009. Darlene loved horses and was a very crafty person. She loved to embroider tablecloths, pillowcases and pictures of horses. Darlene enjoyed old western's best. If it wasn't country it wasn't music (she told that to her girls a lot). Darlene doted on her 3 girls, they were her everything. Darlene Hilda Irene Miller age 81, of Wells, MN died July 2, 2022 at UHD Hospital in Blue Earth, MN of natural causes. Darlene is survived by her daughters: Diane (David) Crimmins of Brooklyn Park, MN, Dalene (Joel) Annen of Winnebago, MN, and Dawn Westermann of Alexandria, MN; sisters: Laura Greiner of Fairmont, MN and Avis (Raymond) Roiger of New Hope, MN; and brother, Melvin (Lola Johnson) Miller of Madelia, MN. She had 9 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren. Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, infant sister Alice, sister-in-law Betty Miller, brother-in-law Lyle Greiner, and niece Sherry Rambo. Darlene will be laid to rest at Trinity Fieldon Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery in Lewisville Township 47334 132nd Street, Lewisville, MN. Services will be held Thursday, July 7, 2022 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Winnebago, MN public viewing at 10:00 am, service at 11:00 am, lunch to follow service. Donations can be made to MS Society, 2829 University Ave SE, Suite 900, Minneapolis MN 55414, in memory of Darlene Miller. Arrangements are with the Sturm Funeral Home in St. James, Minnesota.
