Daniel W. Jenkins age 62, died on February 25, 2025, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato, MN.

Graveside service will be held Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 10:30am with Military Honors.

Daniel William Jenkins was born on July 2, 1962, in Springfield, MN, the son of Ernest and Patricia. He attended Springfield Public Schools and joined the National Guards in Redwood Falls. After his time in the National Guards, he moved to Las Vegas where he worked for Liberace. In 2001, He moved back to Minnesota. Danny worked as a cook at Jackpot. In his younger years he enjoyed sports, working on cars, traveling, boxing and weight lifting. Danny could also be found fishing, out doing farm work and visiting with family and friends. He will always be remembered for his sense of humor and quick wit.

Danny is survived by his son Kurtis; siblings - Lee (Jody), James, Susan (Dale) Stimpert, Ernie (Tina), Sue (J.R.) Flickenger, Mary (Dean) Lindsay and Mae. He was preceded in death by son Christopher and his parents.
