Daniel Conrad

Daniel Emery Conrad, 58, of Casper, Wyoming, died February 19, 2013, at Wyoming Medical Center. Dan was born January 22, 1955, in Rochester, Minnesota, to Dennis and Evelyn Conrad. Dan graduated from St. Mary's School in Sleepy Eye, MN, in 1973. He then attended the Fluid Power Program at Granite Falls Technical College, graduating in 1975. He worked in several different cities across the country, specializing in oilfield well head components and service. Dan owned and operated his business Marta-Co Control in Casper, WY, for the past twenty-five years. He was well known and respected by those in the business. According to several long time associates, "Dan was unmatched in his skills in the oil patch." He will be greatly missed. Dan was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan. He was passionate about current events and politics. Dan enjoyed playing cards with his family, talking to long-time friends, and keeping in touch with his cousins, Joan and the Miller family. Dan is survived by his parents, Dennis Red and Evie Conrad of Alexandria, MN; sisters and their spouses, Laurie and Neal Hunter of Alexandria, MN, and Susie and Lyle Braun of Temecula, CA; brother and his spouse, Tom and Melissa Conrad of Indianapolis, IN; seven nieces and nephews, one great-nephew and one great-niece.
