Dallas Seibert

Dallas was born July 12,1923 in Maddock, North Dakota to Carl and Lena Person. Dallas mother died when she was two years old. She was adopted by James and Inga Cleveland and grew up in Maddock. In 1940 she graduated from high school at Maddock. She then went on to Concordia College in Moorhead, MN and graduated in 1944 with a BA degree in teaching business courses. She taught high school classes in Delano, Sandstone and Madelia, MN. Dallas married Claire Russell Seibert on June 22, 1947 in Madelia, MN. She was a homemaker and raised four children. Dallas was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and was an active member in their church circle. She taught Sunday School and worked with the Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts. Her interests were in reading, traveling, camping, attending theater productions, bird watching, embroidering and playing the piano. Dallas moved to Sioux Falls, SD in 2012 and resided at Primrose Assisted Living Retirement Community with her faithful dog, Daisy; until her death. Dallas is survived by her husband of 67 years Claire, son Paul (Norma) Seibert of Fairmont, daughters Jean (Steve) Moses of Madelia, Betty (Jeff) Stauffer of Mankato, Mary (Richard) Hardie of Sioux Falls, grandchildren Tahnee ( Drew) Seibert, Shelby (Chris) Obray, Spencer (Amanda) Seibert, Dan (Amy) Moses, Matt (Krista) Moses, Jennifer Stauffer, Alison Morley and Lauren (Mathias) Sturtz, great - grandchildren Maycee Moses and Adley Sturtz.
