Dale Chute, age 75, of Darfur, died at his home on Saturday, April 23, 2011. Dale Arlen Chute, Sr., was born May 11, 1935, at the family farm in rural Hanska to parents Edgar and Julia (Ulen) Chute. Dale grew up in the Hanska area where he attended the Hanska School. He worked farm jobs and various factory jobs. He married June Ellanson on July 5, 1956. Dale enjoyed visiting family, fishing, cars, shopping, and making nic names for the grandkids; horsefeathers, dirty Sally, shorty, punky, porky, and little princess just to name a few. He also enjoyed his pet cats, Suzy, Sissy and Garfield. Dale is survived by his children, Robert Chute of Darfur, Debbie Chute of St. James, Theresa Eagle of St. James, Brenda Schultz and special friend Evon Bussler of Glencoe, Julie Chute and special friend Leslie Ring of New Ulm, Dale Chute, Jr. of New Ulm, Randy Chute of St. James, Tina (Randy) Palmquist of Lewisville, 22 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, sisters, Goldie (Eldon) Kintzi, Jane Skarphol, sister-in-law, Rose Chute, many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Joseph, Oran, Marlowe, Edgar Vern Buddy,wife, Mable Chute, great-grandson, Nikolas Trebesch and sister-in-law, Irene Pooley.
