Dagmar Pauline Dagner was born on January 11, 1916 to Christ and Maggie (Albertson) Larsen in Charleston Township, Redwood County, MN. She attended country school thru the 8th grade and graduated from Lamberton High School. Dagmer was baptized and confirmed in Sharon Lutheran Church and currently was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church. She participated in Ladies Aid, Prayer Chain, Circle, and was a member of the Legion Auxiliary in Lamberton. Dagmer was united in marriage to Charles Dagner on January 7, 1933. Nine children were born to this union; 6 sons and 3 daughters. Dagmer was a loving person and enjoyed family and friends; always ready to help anyone and will be remembered for always sending cards. She loved sewing and all kinds of gardening. Making quilts was special to her and she made many of them. She also made many Christmas stockings for her grandchildren. Dagmer died on Sunday, March 1, 2009 at Valley View Manor Care Center in Lamberton at the age of 93 years. She is survived by her children - Sandra (Don) Anderson of Sleepy Eye, MN, Edward (Mary) Dagner of New Ulm, MN, Karl (Judy) Dagner of Lamberton, MN, and Arne (Carol) Dagner of Warden, WA; a son-in-law - Wayne Kragn of Redwood Falls, MN; daughters-in-law - Dorla Dagner of Richfield, MN, Karin Dagner of Prescott Valley, AZ, and Pam Dagner of Shakopee; 26 grandchildren; 62 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; sisters - Eloise Kretch of Redwood Falls, MN, Lola Schultz of Fairbault, MN, and Mildred Norcutt of Lucan, MN; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband - Charles; two daughters - Diane and Helen; three sons - Herman, Douglas, and Mark; a granddaughter - Stacy Dagner; one brother; five sisters; and two in infancy.
