Cynthia Tauer

Cynthia Tauer was born February 7th, 1958 in Greenfield, Iowa as the youngest of a large loving family; daughter of John E. F. and Yvonne (Vandewater) Schildberg. In 1977, Cindy saw her soul mate, Scott Tauer, from afar and knew he was the one. They were wed August 18th, 1979 and moved to Minnesota in 1983. She finished school as a LPN, but later found her true calling in raising her four children in her home. Through Cindy's life she taught her children the importance of generosity and love for all peoples. She lived her life with faith near her heart and will be forever missed by all those her knew her. She is survived by her husband, Scott Tauer of Sleepy Eye, children, Dominic Tauer of Fridely, MN, Misty Nevada Tauer of Sleepy Eye, Damian Tauer of Rochester, Samantha Tauer of New Hope, MN, grandchildren, Keira, Madison, Ellie, mother, Yvonne Schildberg, brothers sisters, Bill (Vicki) of Greenfield, IA, John (Cindy) of Greenfield, IA, Terry-Ann (Kurt) of Council Bluffs, IA, Madonna (Bob) of Council Bluffs, IA, Rick of Greenfield, IA, Greg (Chris) of Adair, IA, In-laws, Alcuin Arlene Tauer of Sleepy Eye, brothers and sisters-in-law, many nieces, nephews and other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, John E.F. Schildberg and nephew, Michael Schildberg.
