Curtis Fast age 58, of Mountain Lake, Minnesota died on December 14, 2020, at Sanford Medical in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Private visitation will be on Friday, December 18, 2020 at the Alliance Missionary Church-Mt Lake. Private service will be held at the Alliance Missionary Church-Mt Lake, Friday, December 18, 2020. The services and visitation are for family only. Those wishing to livestream the service can go to mlalliance.org at 2:00 pm on Friday. A public Celebration of Life will be held once the COVID 19 threat is under control. The clergy will be Pastor Kevin Walzak. Interment will be at the Mountain Lake City Cemetery in Mountain Lake, Minnesota. Arrangements are with the Sturm Funeral Home in Mtn. Lake, Minnesota. Curt Fast, age 58 of Mountain Lake, after a two-month courageous battle with COVID-19, met Jesus face to face on Monday, December 14th, 2020 surrounded by his wife and children. Curt was born October 7, 1962 in Mountain Lake, the son of Ron and Carol (Janzen) Fast and was a graduate of Mountain Lake High School. He was baptized at the age of 16 at the Bethel Mennonite Church in Mountain Lake. Curt married Kathy Ramm of Minneapolis on August 29th, 1987. Together they celebrated 33 years of marriage. Curt was a skilled handyman and creative innovator. He fulfilled his dream of owning several businesses throughout his lifetime, including Fast Wings, Twisted Timber Treestands, and Curt Fast Construction. Curt was also an active member of the Mountain Lake Alliance Church and a board member of the Mountain Lake Heritage Village. He was a hard worker who loved the Lord and provided well for his family. Curt enjoyed home projects, deer hunting, a night at the races, attending his kids' and grandkids' many activities, and cherished time spent with his family and many friends. Curt is survived by his wife, Kathy of Mountain Lake, children, Bridgette (John) Berry of Volga, SD, Kyle Fast of Mankato, MN, and Cory Fast of Mountain Lake, grandchildren, Samuel, Peyton, and Anberlin of Volga, SD, mother, Carol Fast of Mountain Lake, siblings, Terri (Barnie) Wall of Mountain Lake, Marcia (Ken) Bauer of Brownton, MN, and Wendy (Whity) Becker of Mountain Lake, as well as numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Ron and other family members
