Coradine "Corie" Davis, age 79, of Sleepy Eye, MN died on Friday, September 26, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family at Generations Memory Care in Mankato, MN.
Visitation will be on Friday, October 3, 2025, from 9:00 am - 11:00 am at Sturm Funeral Home in Sleepy Eye. A graveside service and interment will be held at 11:45 am at Home Cemetery in Sleepy Eye. The clergy will be Pastor David Nissen. Arrangements are with Sturm Funeral Home in Sleepy Eye. Online condolences can be left for the family at sturmfh.com.
Corie was born in Springfield, MN on March 18, 1946, to Lloyd and Lillian Meyer. She grew up on a farm in Springfield - Sundown Township, later moving to Tracy, MN. Corie attended Tracy High School and graduated in 1964. She was united in marriage to Patrick Davis in Tracy on September 2, 1967, and they made their home in Sleepy Eye for over 50 years.
Corie attended the American School of Design in Chicago, IL becoming a florist. She began her career at the Sleepy Eye Greenhouse and later opened her own floral shop, Davis Floral, and retired as manager of HyVee Floral in New Ulm, MN. She brought joy to many milestone events for her own family and others through her creative floral designs. In addition, Corie and Patrick had several businesses they owned and operated together including, The Establishment Pizza Restaurant and Davis Rental Properties.
In her spare time, she enjoyed researching genealogy, having coffee with friends, and spending time with family.
She is survived by her daughters, Shelly (Steven) Bauer, Andrea (Lance) Aukrust, Stephanie (Leon) Schueler, and Tricia (Kasey) Wieland; grandchildren, Patrick (Samantha) Bauer, Tyler Aukrust, Alexandra (Carter) Erickson, Arielle Aukrust, Lauren Schueler (Austin Haas), Ethan Schueler, Lillian and Jack Wieland; great-grandchildren, Ryleigh, Mackenzie, Paisley, Kennedy, and Cori Bauer; sister-in-law, LaDonna Meyer; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick; parents, Lloyd and Lillian (Wendt) Meyer; in-laws, Ossie and Verna Davis; brothers, Curtis Meyer and Calvin Meyer; and sisters-in-law, Kay Gilland and Helen Meyer.
The family would like to thank the staff of Generations Memory Care and Mankato Hospice Care for their compassion and support.
