Cora Bernice Schultz was born September 1, 1908 in Holly Township near Walnut Grove, MN. As a teenager she played the piano for silent movies. She married Clifford Larson on January 12, 1927 at Walnut Grove. They farmed in the area and at one time owned the farm made famous by Little House on the Prairie In the early 1940's they moved to St. James. Her greatest joy was her family. Cora was involved in church work, gardening, playing bridge and she enjoyed sports and music. She married Al Noren on April 22, 1972. She entered Eventide Nursing Home in Mt. Lake in 2000 and Pleasant View in St. James in 2003. Cora was preceded in death by two husbands, parents, sister, 2 brothers, a grandson and a great-granddaughter. She is survived by her four daughters and their spouses, Geri Blum of Scottsdale, AZ, Phyllis Deinhart of St. James, Karen Kenneth Hoime of Kenneth, MN, Lana Harley Hanson of Apple Valley, MN, 2 brothers, Leo Schultz of Seattle, WA, Charles Schultz of Ashby, MN, 17 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
