Clifford Vredenburg

Clifford Vredenburg, age 49, of St. James, died on Wednesday, April 6, 2011, at the St. James Medical Center in St. James. Born January 31, 1962 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and entered eternal laughter on April 6, 2011 in St. James, Minnesota. Cliff was preceded in death by His Mother Elizabeth Dill, Father Allen Vredenburg, Sister Bev Clark and Brother Genie Vredenburg. Cliff is survived by Fianc Carla Freimuth of St. James, Minnesota, Step Dad Donald Dill of Vinton Iowa, 2 Daughters Tonya Skrove of Jackson Minnesota Tammy Kayokela of Gaven Port Iowa, 2 Sons Ben Vredenburg of St. James Minnesota Thomas Hilton Keeley Burton of Cedar Rapids Iowa, 2 Granddaughters Niesha Elsey Elizabeth Olson, Sister Barb Skalsky Brother In Law Don Skalsky of Norway Iowa, many Nieces, Nephews, Friends. Cliff lived life to the fullest always trying to find laughter in the day. Whether Cliff was playing a joke on you and you were eating some ones lunch at work or was scaring you to tears he loved life. Cliff lived in Iowa until moving to California in 1985. Cliff worked at Sierra Power and Delano Energy before moving to Minnesota in 1996 where he worked at Tony Downs. Cliff loved music, riding motorcycles and taking the baja cow to Pismo Dunes in California. Cliff's laughter was contagious along with his passion for family and friends. It didn't matter Cliff if you knew him as Dad, Cliffy, Son, Grandpa, Brother, Uncle, Cousin or Friend he had a special place for each of us in his heart. Cliff had a love for the Lord and shared it will all who was willing to listen he had a final wish of the last word and it was the following PSALMS 34:4 I sought the Lord and He answered me and delivered me from all my fears. ISAIAH 40:31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles they shall run and not be weary they shall walk and not faint. Matthew 17:20 I tell you the truth if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, Move and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.
