Clifford Virgil Nye was born on October 26, 1978, in Keokuk, IA, the son of Gerald and Rosanna (Guinn) Nye. He grew up in Revere, MO and the surrounding area. Clifford attended Elementary School in Revere, MO and later attended High School in Keokuk, IA. He also completed a heavy equipment operator program at American Heavy Equipment. In recent years Clifford was employed with Hancock Concrete in Courtland, MN. Clifford passed away at his home in Darfur, MN on November 4, 2013, he was 35 years and 9 days of age. Clifford was an active member of the Sunbowl Drifters Pool League Team; something he and his father have enjoyed together for several years. He enjoyed hunting, especially deer, and fishing with his Dad and other family and friends, loved camping, collecting knives, swords, motorcycles, and all things Ford, but most of all he loved to just spend time with family and friends. Clifford will most be remembered for his giant-sized heart, big bear hugs, twinkling eyes, beautiful smile, and overwhelming love and generosity that flowed from him freely every day. He was a dedicated son; always there for his mother and father whenever they needed. That same dedication he also offered to everybody who was blessed to call Clifford family or friend. He will be forever missed by many. Clifford is survived by his parents; Gerald and Rosanna Nye of Darfur, sister - Michelle (Kenny) Vradenburg and a nephew Cody and his brother - Christopher Nye and nephews Michael Biddenstadt and Matthew Nye; any many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents - Clyde and Illa Jean Nye and Richard Sr. and Dorothy Guinn; and cousins - Lucinnda Weber and Jose Guinn.
