Cletus Guy Wolters was born August 8, 1944, in Mankato to parents Gordon and Bertha (McMurlyn) Wolters. Clete was raised in Mankato where he attended school. He worked for the Valley News and Abe's Shoe Shine in Mankato. Clete moved to St. James and worked for Tony Downs, after his retirement he enjoyed delivering flowers for Dot's Studio and serving coffee at the Band Box. He enjoyed spending time on the phone visiting with family and friends. Clete loved his dogs. He collected elephant figurines and pens. Clete enjoyed his trips to the casinos where he played the penny machines and occasionally bingo. Clete is survived by his siblings; Gordy (Janelle) Wolters of Mankato, Jerry (Pam) Wolters of Lake Crystal, David (Shawn) Wolters of Mankato, Doug (Rhonda) Wolters of Mankato, Rodney (Cindy) Wolters of St. James, Shelly (Dan) Miller of St. James, Brian Wolters of St. James, Donald and special friend Jodi Dietman of Mankato, brother-in-law; Swede Paulson of St. James and sister-in-law; MaryLou Wolters of Madison Lake. He is preceded in death by his father; Gordon Wolters, mother; Bertha Wolters, sisters; Becky Wolters, Bonnie Paulson, brother; Steven Wolters, nephews Terry Paulson, Dennis Kinnetz and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
