Cleo Beermann

December 14, 1920 — September 7, 2011

Cleo Mae Beermann was born on December 14, 1920, in Storden, MN, the daughter of Joe C. and Josphine (Kaushagen) Johnson. She was united in marriage to Clifford J. Beermann on May 10, 1941 in Lamberton, MN. Cleo was a lifelong resident of the Lamberton area where she lovingly raised her six children with her husband. She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Lamberton where she served with the Altar Guild and Ladies Aid. She was a member of the Busy Dozen Club. Cleo enjoyed cooking at home and also for the Valley View Care Center. She also enjoyed sewing and crocheting for her children and grandchildren. She loved the holidays and all of her family gatherings. Cleo was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and she was loved and will be deeply missed. Cleo died on Wednesday, September 07, 2011 at Valley View Manor Care Center at the age of 90 years where she has resided since 2007. She is survived by her husband - Clifford Beermann of Lamberton; children - Bonnie (Darlo) Kaehler of Hillman, MN, Sharon (Ed) Fisher of Cedar Rapids, IA, Linda Hayes (Jim Sorensen) of Savage, MN, Nancy (Paul) Bartunek of Savage, MN, Dean (Tuda) Beermann of Lamberton, MN, and Cindy (Terry) Stage of Redwood Falls, MN; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; a sister - Donna Anderson of Sleepy Eye; a sister-in-law - Faun Johnson of Lamberton, MN; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents - Joe and Josie Johnson; sisters - Clarice Halvorson and Doris Craft; brothers - Donald in infancy and Jerome Johnson; and a son-in-law - Charlie Hayes.
