Clay Thomas Sizer

Clay Thomas Sizer age 68, of Saint James, MN, died on July 5, 2023, at his home.

Services for Clay will be held at a later date.

Clay was born October 22, 1954 in Madelia, MN to Patrick and Shirley (Sutherland) Sizer.  Clay was raised in rural Saint James on his family farm, where he spent a lot of time working on the farm, tending to the animals and baling hay.  He was baptized and confirmed at the Methodist Church of St James.  He was a graduate from Saint James High School, class of 1972.  Clay worked with Eiden Farm Drainage for many years and was a long time resident of Odin, MN. Clay returned to Saint James and has lived there for the past several years.

In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his children, watching old westerns, movies and TV shows.

Clay is survived by his daughter, Natosha (Darrin) Hovden of rural Madelia; sons, Will Sizer and Ethan Sizer of Saint James; siblings, Scott (Marcia Paulson) Sizer of Saint James, Mary Nelson of Britt, MN, Todd (Clarice) Sizer of Saint James, along with several nieces, nephews and other family members.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Patrick and Shirley Sizer, and brother-in-law, Roger Nelson.
