Clara Falk

Clara Ratzlaff was born February 26, 1918 at Oswego, MT to parents Jacob and Elizabeth (Duerksen) Ratzlaff. She grew up in the Minot, ND and Delft areas. She attended country school through the 8th grade in rural Mt. Lake. She attended the Bergfelder Church in Mt. Lake where she was baptized on June 5, 1938. On April 26, 1939 Clara was united in marriage to John L. Falk in Mt. Lake. The couple made there home on the farm in rural Mt. Lake where she lived until 2006 when she moved into the Good Samaritan Village in Mt. Lake. Clara enjoyed to travel with John, she would ride along on errands and would sit in the car and read as he ran farm errands. The enjoyed going to the State Fair together. Clara was a great cook. Most recipes she had in memory and was sometimes reluctant to share with family members. She took great pride in and cherished her family and friends. They were so important to her. Clara was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two brothers Elmer Ratzlaff and Donald Goossen. She is survived by her two sons, Jimmie Dale Falk of Mt. Lake, Bruce (Bev) Falk of Mt. Lake, grandson, Brady Falk of Suprise, AZ, sisters, Nettie (Guy) Erickson of N. Mankato, Jeanette (Joe) Grant of Mt. Lake, Arlene Goossen of Aberdeen, SD, brothers, Jonas (Eva) Goossen of Trimont, LeRoy (Stella) Goossen of Coarse Gold, CA, Dennis (Darlene) Goossen of St. James, a sister-in-law, Delphine Goossen of St. James, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
