Christina Hanson

Christina Merrill Strand Hanson March 11, 1970 to July 5th, 2018. Survived by her wonderful children Dylan Bradley Hanson (20), Dayton Charles Hanson (17) and Bryn Daily Caroline Bell (9). Preceded in death by her mother Doris (Frey) Strand and dad Charles (Chip) Strand. Chris was lucky enough to have a dad and a father in her life, survived by father Dan Nicol, 2 brothers Joel & Michael Strand, 3 sisters Danise Dembouski, Sarah Nicol & Dawn Earney and many nieces, nephews, family members and friends. Chris grew up in Marine on St Croix, MN where she was the manager of the Village Scoop for many years. Chris was the assistant manager for the Marine on St. Croix Art Fair which fostered her love of craft shows and The Minnesota State Fair. She graduated from Stillwater High School. Chris attended St Cloud State University where she met Brad Hanson. They were married October 18, 1997 and were blessed with two amazing boys, Dylan and Dayton Hanson. In 2009, Chris and Brad Bell were blessed with a sweet little brown eyed, brown haired girl named Bryn who Chris called her mini me. Chris resided in Mountain Lake with her 3 kids enjoying volunteering and taking gazillions of beautiful pictures. She was currently the Marketing Specialist at Fulda Area Credit Union which utilized all of her creative talents. She was active with Wolverine Booster Club and various community activites. She had recently started a new successful business enterprise Younique. Chris adored being with family, friends and coworkers. No one will ever forget Christinas smile. Her first, second and third joys were being Mom to her 3 children who were the light of her life, her world, her everything. For everyone who knew Chris, she will be forever 29.
