Chad Schmitz

Chad Edward Schmitz age 42, passed away on September 9, 2014. He was born on September 5, 1972 in Sleepy Eye, MN the son of Alfred and Janice Disque Schmitz. He grew up in Sleepy Eye and graduated from Sleepy Eye Public High School in 1991. He attended Willmar Vocational School graduating in 1993. Chad was baptized and confirmed at St. Mary's Catholic Church. He married Jessica Anderson on March 4, 2000, they later divorced in 2008. They were blessed with three children who Chad loved and adored with all of his heart and soul. Survivors include his children, Megan, Riley and Kyle, Waterville MN, his parents, Alfred and Janice Schmitz of Sleepy Eye, siblings and their family, Craig and Recarda Schmitz (Kasey and Kedar) of New Ulm,MN, Cory and Sara Schmitz (Caitlin and Abigail) LeCenter, MN and Chris and Steve Domser (Addison) Killeen, TX and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edward and Hildegard Schmitz and August and Velma Disque, aunt, Violet Disque-Dietz, uncle, Richard Disque, uncle Neal Balfany and cousin Jimmy Dietz.
