Carol Visher

Carol Ottavia Baldini was born on February 23, 1943 to Peter Vivian (Huettl) Baldini in Ithaca, NY. At age 6, Carol and her family moved to Mankato where she graduated from High School. She attended DSU in Mitchell, SD for three years for her nursing degree. Later in life she fulfilled her dream to finish her nursing degree at SCTC. Carol married Wesley on August 20, 1964 at Zion Lutheran in Lake Crystal. She worked various jobs in Madelia, but her favorite ones were helping people with disabilities and handicaps. She was a fighter for helping those who could not fight for themselves. She ended her nursing career by working at LMH in Madelia and Good Sam in St. James. She enjoyed crocheting, baking, recipe gathering, and volunteering at church. Carol served on the LMH board, acted as a Sunday School Teacher, Church Council, and Boy and Girl Scout Leaders, and parent-in-chief at Hope and Faith Floral. Most of all, under her gruff Italian exterior was someone who loved and cared for so many in ways that many will never know or understand. Those who knew Carol knew her passions and her love and unending kindness. The simplest things in life were the greatest things to her. She is survived by her daughter Stacy Medina and special friend Leonel, son Ryan and wife Lisa, step-daughter Cindy Ziedler and husband Bruce. Seven beacon of her eyes grandchildren, one great grandchild, brother, David (Sue) Baldini of Waseca and sister-in-law, Alice Baldini of River Falls, WI. She was united in heaven with her parents, husband Wesley, son Scott, and brother Peter.
