Bryon Bradley Forstner

August 13, 1994 — December 24, 2016

Bryon Bradley Forstner, son of Vincent and Kristi Forstner, born August 13, 1994, passed away on Christmas Eve 2016 at the age of 22. He was the fourth of five boys, Trenton "TJ", Dustin, Andrew, Bryon, and Austin. Bryon graduated from Madelia High School in 2013. During high school, Bryon was active in choir and sports. His main love was wrestling, in which he was able to compete in 2 State Tournaments and in his senior year, was captain of the team with his cousin Adam. After high school, he shared his knowledge of wrestling by volunteering as a coach. Bryon also loved to play and watch baseball. He was a big Twins fan and went to 18 games in his life. The Twins were 18-0 when he was in attendance, including a win last season on his 22nd birthday. Bryon loved hunting. One of the biggest weekends of the year was the opening of deer season, during which he traveled to the Forstner cabin to hunt with his dad, brothers, uncle Gary and many cousins. He was able to win bragging rights of "Biggest Buck" several times in his short time with us on the hunt. Bryon loved to travel, his favorite trip was to Hawaii this past January, nearly having to drag him onto the plane to leave. He also loved the cabin and camping with family including his trips to the Preston area with his cousins and aunt Kim. Bryon had several jobs after high school and this past summer, he worked hard to start his own pressure washing business that had become successful and kept him very busy until his passing. Bryon is survived by his parents, Vince and Kristi Forstner of Madelia; brothers, TJ (Brianna) Forstner of Truman, Dusty (Ashley) Forstner of Madelia, Andy (Brandi) Forstner of Lake Crystal, Austin Forstner of Madelia; nephews, Maximus, Zevric; niece, Evyonna; grandparents, Duane (Nancy) Stevensen, Floyd Forstner, all of Madelia; aunts and uncles, Gary (Denise) Forstner, Kim Cooling, all of Madelia, Diane (Al) Mendel, Jeff (Maureen) Forstner all of Sauk Rapids, Roger (Jennifer) Forstner of Honolulu, Chuck (Alyssa) Stevensen of St. James; many cousins and his chocolate lab, Vylet. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Maureen Forstner, uncles, Bradley Stevensen, Kenneth Forstner; cousin, Josh Forstner and very close friend and cousin, Alex Cooling.
