Bryon Cowell

Bryon Keith Cowell, 62, of Butterfield, Minnesota passed away Thursday, November 18th, 2021 at his home. A graveside service was held for Bryon at a previous date at Tracy Public Cemetery at Tracy, Minnesota. The Cowell family would like to thank David Lindscheid on his thoughtful eulogy he gave at the graveside service. Bryon Keith Cowell was born on July 20th, 1959 to Leo and Alice (Hanson) Cowell at Tracy area Hospital joining a house already full of siblings. Bryon was baptized at Tracy, Minnesota and attended Tracy's 1st Lutheran Church and later Butterfield's 1st Lutheran Church. Bryon grew up in Tracy, Minnesota and later moved with his family to Butterfield, Minnesota. He attended Tracy Public Schools. Bryon had a fun childhood with his siblings and getting in the Tracy adventures! Bryon always had fond stories to tell about growing up in Tracy. Bryon loved his dogs! Through his life he owned many dogs, with his latest dog Spike. His hobby for his cars was known throughout Butterfield and his family, keeping them clean and top shape! He could always rely on a good conversation with Bryon. He was also known for wearing a head handkerchief when driving around in his Chevy trucks. Bryon was an avid collector of different types of collectables like toy cars and baseball cards. Bryon loved his family dearly and spending time with them. Bryon was a very much favorite Uncle amongst his nieces and nephews. His favorite pastime was ice cream with his mom at the lake and Mcdonalds for coffee. He liked spending time at the Butterfield Threshing Bee when it comes around every August and also spending time at the Bee's Park for Reunions and their Mother's Birthday. Bryon was a lifelong worker at Butterfield Foods where he worked on the wash rack. After the passing of Leo, he took loving care of Alice and made sure she was taken anywhere she desired. Bryon is survived by his siblings Bruce (Lynda) Cowell of Mountain Lake, MN, Kevin (Susan) Cowell of Saint James, MN, Gary Cowell (Special friend Dianne Klotz) of Sleepy Eye, MN, Judy Wagner (Special Friend Arthur Buck) of Butterfield, MN, Bradley (Mary Jo) Cowell of Saint James, MN, Kent Cowell (Special friend Roxane Mau) of Butterfield, MN, Todd (Connie) Cowell, of Mountain Lake, MN and Corey (Beverly) Cowell of Bufferfield, MN. Bryon is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Bryon is preceded in death by his Parents Leo and Alice Cowell, Nephews Lance Cowell, Karson Weston and Niece Candice Cowell.
