Brigitta Fast

Brigitta Fast age 65, of Mountain Lake, Minnesota passed away peacefully on December 29, 2020, at Good Samaritan Society-The Village, in Mountain Lake, Minnesota. Memorial services will be held on Friday, January 29, 2021 at 10:00 am at the Community Bible Church in Butterfield, MN. Interment will be at the Mountain Lake City Cemetery in Mountain Lake, Minnesota. Arrangements are with the Sturm Funeral Home in Mtn. Lake, Minnesota. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.sturmfh.com. Brigitta Mueller was born November 11, 1955 and raised in Mt. Lake to Herbert and Ursula Mueller. She was baptized in October 1972. She graduated from Mountain Lake Public School in 1974. Brigitta later married Steven Fast and moved to Butterfield, MN to raise their three children. She was part of the ladies mission circle at the North Mennonite Church and also volunteered at the National MS Society, MN Chapter and at Kid's Club in the Butterfield School. Her passion was reading and studying her bible, and loving and trusting in the Lord. In the early 1980's, when she was in her mid-twenties, Brigitta was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). Despite this difficult battle, her strong faith and fun sense of humor was something she is remembered for. She made various loving relationships over the years with her caretakers, relationships that would last a lifetime. She loved telling jokes and visiting with family. She battled this disease until the good Lord called her home. Brigitta is survived by her sisters: Ursula Seastrand, Gerda Robinson, Margarita Mueller, and Elena Alves, children and grandchildren, Matthew Fast(Sarah, Collin and Caleb), Misty Winters(Travis, Hayden, Waylon and Monroe), and Melanie Hundt(Ron, Angelina, Sophia, Joseph and Harper). She is preceded in death by her grandmother and grandfather, Oma and Opa, and her mother and father, Herbert and Ursula Mueller. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Good Samaritan Home in Mountain Lake, MN or to the MS Society.
