Brenda Sue Baldwin

Brenda S. Baldwin, age 68 of Byron, Minnesota, passed away on Friday, October 31, 2025, in Nashville, Tennessee. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Sturm Funeral Home in Saint James. A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025, at 11:00 am at Rosendale Lutheran Cemetery in rural Madelia. Arrangements are with Sturm Funeral Home in Saint James. Brenda Sue (Steuber) Baldwin, the daughter of Orville and Grace (Torgeson) Steuber, was born on February 22, 1957, in Mankato, Minnesota. She was raised in the Hanska area and attended school in New Ulm. On September 4, 1973, Brenda married the love of her life, Leonard Baldwin, in Hanska. They were blessed with three children, Doug, Steve, and Crystal. With Leonard's dedicated service to the United States Army, they spent 20 years living between Colorado and Texas. After life in the military, Brenda and Leonard settled in the Rochester, Minnesota area and later moved to Byron.

Brenda was a great wife who loved to cook and travel. She enjoyed gardening and anything red caught her eye.

Brenda is survived by her husband of 51 years, Leonard Baldwin of Byron; brother, Paul Steuber of Aurora, MO; sister, Janet Tierney of Clarksville, TN; and other loving relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her children, Doug, Steve, and Crystal; parents; one sister; and two brothers.
