Brandy Roberts

Brandy was born July 19, 1981, in New Ulm, the daughter of Jay Sellner and LaMonne Chapman. She grew up in Sleepy Eye and graduated from Sleepy Eye Public High School in 2000. She worked at Divine Providence Nursing Home, Sleepy Eye and most recently MSU Mankato since 2016. Brandy was full of life, energetic, had great empathy for people as she dealt with her own illness Rheumatoid Lung Disease. Her greatest love was her husband, Jared, of two years, together for five. They complemented each other with their strengths and weaknesses. They made each other laugh, loved going "up north" to the family cabin to fish and play. Brandy is survived by her husband, Jared Roberts of North Mankato, father, Jay Sellner of Springfield, sibling Michelle Chapman of Lincoln, NE, grandmothers, Jean Bloemke and Christine Strande, father and mother-in-law, David and Valerie Roberts, step-mother, Kim Sellner, brother and sister-in-law, Travis and Breanne Roberts, special niece and nephew, Hope and Ezekiel Roberts of Madison Lake, MN, uncles, aunts, cousins, step brother and step sisters and Bailey, her fur-baby. She was preceded in death by mother, LaMonne Chapman and infant brother Michael, special uncle Craig Bloemke. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date due to COVID-19 constraints.
