Bradley Wayne Haynes was born on February 19, 1956 in Madelia, MN to Verne and Erva (Mickelson) Haynes.  He was a graduate of Madelia High School and Minnesota State University.  Brad married Amy Splinter on December 19, 1987 in Lewisville, MN.  Brad owned his own trucking company for many years.  He was passionate about his livelihood and took pride in his work.  Every weekend along side his son Nick, they spent hours cleaning and polishing the truck. He was a proud provider to his family.  Brad made many life long friends through truck driving.  He served on the Madelia City Council for 12 years and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Madelia.  Brad enjoyed reading and learning about history.  He participated and acted in the Younger Brothers Celebration as the villain, Cole Younger. He was so excited to take part in Madelia's historic tradition.  In his free time, he loved to go hunting and fishing. He made a point to always make sure his two sons, Nick and Nate were involved. Family was always so important to Brad.  He was very proud of his kids and watching them play sports.  He also loved watching his two grandkids, Ivy and Harrison.  We will miss him, and listening to his stories.

Brad is survived by his wife, Amy Haynes; sons, Nathan (Emily) Haynes, Nicholas Haynes; daughter, Sarah (Alex) Saxen; granddaughter, Ivy; grandson, Harrison;  siblings, Gene (Annette) Haynes, Jim (Sommer) Haynes, Lori (Paul) Helling, Julie (Kevin) Hannan.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Verne and Erva Haynes, and parents-in-law, Clarence and Delores Splinter.
