She was born in Bertha, MN to Amherst D. Wait and Ellen N. Marsh on January 11, 1943. After moving to Bovey, MN at an early age she attended school and graduated from Grand Rapids Public School. Upon graduation she moved to southern Minnesota where she met and married Robert J. Sharp of Lake Crystal, MN her loving and devoted husband of 43 years. Bonnie loved to spend time outdoors enjoying the wildlife and nature around her. Special outings and vacations with her many friends and family members made her life complete. She will forever hold a memorable place in the hearts of the people she touched with her zest for life and her artistic talents that she shared with many. Bonnie Beth Sharp of Sleepy Eye died at the New Ulm Medical Center on September 30, 2007 after a short but heroic battle with cancer at the age of 64 years. Bonnie is survived by her life partner, Robert J. Sharp, son, Byron Sharp and special friend Renee Woods of Montana, daughter, Sandra (Sharp) Neid and fiance Jason Maher of St. James and son, Joel Sharp of Thief River Falls. Among those that will miss her the most are her granddaughters, Crystal Neid of New Ulm, and Heather Neid of St. James, who will forever remember her for grandma's special touch and kind words, Sami Jo Mlsna, Shilynne Woods, Taylor John Sharp, Kyle and Nick Stewart and many nieces and nephews, brothers, Boyd Wait and wife Marga of Oklahoma, Bruce Wait of Washington and sister, Beverly Phelps and husband Bennie of Cohasset, MN, brothers-in-law, Steve Hoppe and wife Teri and Brad Hoppe and wife Jean, sisters-in-law, Linda Hoppe of New Jersey and Deb Owl and husband Sam of North Carolina and mother-in-law, Lois Hoppe of Truman. A heartfelt Know when to hold em' Know when to fold em' goes to brother-in-law, Bruce Sharp and wife Helen of St. James, It's your deal. Also surviving Bonnie are special friends, Duane and Jan Truman of Missouri and Phil and Lynn Horne of Georgia.
