Bonnie Lou Krech

Bonnie Krech, 88, died peacefully on Jan. 17, 2017 in Eagan, MN. Bonnie was born December 24, 1928 in Jackson, MN to Howard and Cora Brown. She graduated from Jackson high school in 1947 and went to Mankato Teachers College where she obtained her teacher's certificate. She started her teaching career in Okabena, MN where she met her husband, Emery. They later moved to St. James where they raised their family. Bonnie was a teacher in the public schools and Head Start for many years. She was active in her church and was a good friend to many in the community she lived in for 60 plus years. She had a kind and gentle spirit and was a loving wife to Emery (deceased) They have three children; Mary (Marty) Sandvik of Eagan, Paul (Carolyn) Krech of Lakeville, and Jack (Elaine) Krech of St. James. She loved her six grandchildren; Ben and Dane (Lindsey) Sandvik, Andrew (Kelly) and Anna Krech, Sam and Sarah Krech. Memorials may be made to First Lutheran Church or District 840 Foundation.
