Bonnie Johnson

April 28, 1931 — April 4, 2005

Bonnie was born April 28, 1931 in Lamberton, the daughter of Edward and Mabel (Raveling) Pauling. She attended country school and helped area families with cooking, canning, and cleaning. She married Raymond G. Johnson on February 1, 1951. The couple lived in Sioux Falls, SD, Tualatin, OR, and in 1980 they moved to a farm near Revere. Bonnie worked at Valley View Manor Care Center and help Ray on the farm. Bonnie was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Lamberton and a member of the Lamberton Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed working with crafts, ceramics, making quilts, playing organ, and the accordion and her time in the garden with her roses. She is survived by her husband - Raymond G. Johnson of Lamberton; children - Mark Johnson of Revere; Diana and husband Harry Dickerson of Tualatin, OR; Renae and husband Charles Tobey of Walnut Grove, and Jayme and husband Gary Warner of Revere; grandchildren - Michele and husband Jeff Machovsky of Knoxville, IA, Micah Dickerson of Tualatin, OR, Rian Dickerson of Fort Hood, TX, and Libbey Warner of Revere; a great grandson - William Anderson - Dickerson of Tualatin, OR; a brother - Weber and wife Dorothy Pauling of Shoreview; sisters - Donna and husband Dale Bishir of South Haven, MN and Sandy and husband Phil Sharp of Orr, MN. She is preceded in death by her parents - Edward and Mabel Pauling.
