Bonnie Davis

Bonnie Joan Davis, 64, of Madelia, died June 25, 2026, at her home surrounded by family.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Sturm funeral Home in Saint James. Visitation will continue on Thursday, July 2, 2026, from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM at Sturm Funeral Home in Madelia. Funeral Mass will take place on July 2, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Saint Mary's Catholic Church in Madelia. Interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Madelia. Bonnie grew up in rural Madelia. She married the love of her life, Merle. They raised their two kids, Jeff and Megan on their acreage south of Madelia. She attended beauty school after graduating high school and was a beautician for a few years. Her last place of work was in St. James as a physical therapist aide for over 12 years. 

Bonnie was a woman of faith and persistence. She always had a way to make you smile and remained positive even in hard times. Bonnie enjoyed baking, crafting, shopping and was always making sure her flowers around the farm were beautiful. But, one thing she loves the most was spending time with family, especially her grandkids making fun memories.

Bonnie is survived by her son, Jeff (Missy) Davis; daughter, Megan (Colter) Lenz; mother-in-law, Marlene Davis; grandchildren, Hayden, Payton, Madison, Aaleah, Kasen, Grayson and Benson; twin sister, Brenda (Will) Davis; sisters, Marie (Steve) Landsteiner and Debbie Knewtson; siblings-in-law, Terry (Sharon) Davis, Lynn Blanchard, Jay (Lisa) Davis, Brent (Christy) Davis, Lori Davis, Rick (Terresa) Davis, Doyle Davis; sister-in-law, Laura Davis; and many nieces and nephews.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, Merle; her parents, Ervin and Margaret Sturm; father-in-law, Donald Davis; brother-in-law, Craig Davis; nephew, Chris Holm; niece, Rebecca Spidahl; brothers-in-law, Mark Blanchard, Todd Heckman; and sister-in-law, Judi Davis.
