Bonnie Brown

Bonnie Lou Brown was born September 6, 1934, to Arnold and Cleo (Jensen) Wendt in Springfield, MN. She attended Springfield Public Schools and then worked as a waitress. She met and married Al Brown on May 18, 1952. They lived on the family farm until Al retired from farming. They were owners of Brown Transfer until their son Mark took over the business in the mid 1990's. Bonnie was a member of New Hope Lutheran Church in Comfrey and enjoyed camping, cooking. baking and taking care of her home. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family on vacations and trips to the lake. Bonnie Brown died Wednesday, January 18, 2017, at St. John Lutheran Home in Springfield at the age of 82 years. She is survived by her children - Mark and Linda Brown of Springfield, Paula and Steven Junker of Comfrey, and Steven and Becky Brown of Comfrey; 8 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Arnie and Cleo Wendt; husband Allan in 2011; and sisters- Janice Waskosky and Lois Halvorson.
