Beverly Jean Thompson

July 30, 1932 — October 1, 2018

Beverly Thompson passed away Monday, October 1, 2018 at Pleasant View Good Samaritan Society in St. James. Beverly Jean Beck was born in Truman on July 30, 1932, the daughter of Joe and Winnefred (Sprague) Beck. On June 18, 1950, she was united in marriage to Milton Thompson. For 50 years Beverly was an active member and as the bible calls it "a good and faithful servant" of the Pentecostal Church of St. James. She worked on the line at Tony Downs Foods in St. James for 30 years and developed friendships there that lasted a lifetime. She loved gardening and collecting chicken collectables and memorabilia. For years she gave all her friends and family solar toys whenever there was a new one. Most of all she loved her family and doted and adored her grandchildren, great and great great! Her faith and devotion to God never waned and we find such comfort knowing she is now with him. Love You Mom Left to mourn her passing are her husband Milton Thompson, children; Ronotta (Richard) Lopko of Mankato, Robert (Helene) Thompson of Champlin, Sandy (Skip) Gleb of Mankato, Roger (Theresa) Thompson of Rosemount, grandchildren; Rick, Rodney, Mike, Jay, 11 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, sister Sherry Breitbarth of Truman and brother-in-law Bud (Lois) Thompson of St. James.
