Betty Lou Rosella Klinkner

Betty Lou (Dauer) was born to Julius and Florence (Roberts) Dauer on December 18, 1945 in New Ulm, MN. She grew up in New Ulm and graduated from New Ulm Cathedral High School in 1964. After high school, Betty married Roger Klinkner and the couple made their home in Madelia. She worked at Van der Burgh Foods Inc. in Madelia for more than 20 years until the plant closed. She then went on to work part time at various convenience stores in Madelia, most recently at the BP in Madelia. She was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Madelia. Betty was a devoted and hard working mother while raising her sons and a loving grandmother to her grandchildren. In her free time, Betty enjoyed doing word searches, taking trips to area casinos with her sisters, was well liked by many in the community and enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Betty Lou Rosella Klinkner, age 76, of Madelia, MN, died on March 22, 2022, at her home. Betty is survived by her sons, Randy Klinkner of Madelia, Ronnie (Tina) Klinkner of Redwood Falls; grandchildren, Mitch Klinkner of Des Moines, IA, Lexi Klinkner of Lee's Summit, MO; sister, Gloria Peterson; brothers, Jerry (Ann) Dauer, Dennis Dauer and Mike (Pat) Dauer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Klinkner; brothers, Albert Dauer, Philip Dauer; sister, Jeanette Guhlke and brother-in-law, Dale Peterson.
