Bertie Holley

Edna Alberta Bertie Boyles was born August 10, 1927 to Harry and Daisy (Hewlitt) Boyles at Kansas City, MO. She married Leo Holley on April 24, 1948 at Ansley, NE. Affectionately known as Bertie, she loved children, art, nature, and the quiet simple things in life. She was a gifted artist and her compassion, care and love for her family and friends was unending. Her love and devotion to her family will be greatly missed. She is survived by her loving husband Leo Holley; brother, Harry Rae Boyles, Mason City, NE; daughter, Connie Holland and husband Brad of Lakeville, MN; granddaughters, Kacy Wood, Lees Summit, MO, and Jody Pederson, Joplin, MO; and her six beautiful great-grandchildren, Allie and Sydnie Pederson, and Whitney, Claire, Jackson, and Alex Wood. She was preceded in death by her parents. The family extends a special thank you to dear friends for all their help and prayers and to the staff at Immanuel St. Joseph Hospital in Mankato for their loving care.
