Bernice Kispert

Bernice Grace Kyllo was born Dodge County, MN, on March 5, 1928, the daughter of Joseph and Clara (Danielson) Kyllo. She attended District 79 school until the 8th grade and graduated from Kenyon High School. On August 8, 1948, Bernice was united in marriage to Wayne Kispert at Nerstrand, MN. She worked various jobs including 18 years at State Bank of Butterfield retiring in 1982. They purchased the Oakwood Golf Course at Henning, MN. The couple returned to Butterfield in 2000. Bernice enjoyed golfing, reading, crossword puzzles and camping. She belonged to WELCA, the VFW Aux. since the mid 1960's and had been active in community club, Butterfield Threshing Bee Assoc. She is survived by her husband, Wayne Kispert of Butterfield, sister-in-law, Olive Houston of Salt Lake City, UT, brother-in-law, Lloyd (Linda) Kispert of Nerstrand, several nieces and nephews.
