Bernice Grundmeyer

Bernice E. Grundmeyer was born on December 16, 1918 in Echo Township, MN, the daughter of Edward Sophronia (Greenwald) Engel. After her schooling she worked at Snows Hatchery and A.J. Pietrus in Sleepy Eye and later at Control Data in Redwood Falls. Bernice was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Sleepy Eye. She enjoyed sewing, crossword puzzles and playing cards. Bernice E. Grundmeyer, age 86, formerly of Sleepy Eye, died on Friday, June 17, 2005 at St. John Lutheran Home in Springfield where she had lived since 1999. She is survived by her children their spouses; Charles (Nancy) Rummel of Arizona, Dale (Evie) Grundmeyer of Indiana, Gary Grundmeyer of Madelia, Dianne (Tom) Engel of Utah, Sandy (Leon Red) Zarn of Sleepy Eye, Linda (Mike) Glenn of California, Judy (Gary) Haala of Sleepy Eye, 15 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and sister-in-law, Norma Engel of Mankato. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister.
