Barbara Ann Peterson

Barbara Ann Peterson was born on December 22, 1947 to Elmer and Dorothy (Meindl) Guhlke in Springfield, MN.  On December 12, 1964, Barb was united in marriage to Robert Peterson at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lamberton.  The couple lived in Westbrook after they were married and moved to the farm near Lamberton.  Barb was a big part in helping with farm life, gardening and canning.  She also worked at Valley View Manor as a certified nursing assistant.  After moving into Lamberton Barb discovered her favorite hobbies - going to the casino and eating out best of all Godfather’s Pizza.  Most of all Barb loved spending time with her family and friends.

Barbara died on February 23, 2023, at her home in Lamberton at the age of 75.

She is survived by her daughter Shari Wright, son Robert Peterson, grandchildren - Janessa and Alex Wright and Cassandra, Brooklyn, and Danny Peterson; sisters Diane Estum, Mary (Dave) Sell, Geri (Bruce) Fidler, and Janell (Kevin) Rhoda, and a step-brother - Allan (Alice) Fidler.  Barb was preceded in death by her father Elmer, mother Dorothy, stepfather George, and husband Robert Lee Peterson.
