Arline P. Radunz was born May 8, 1921 to Henry and Hattie (Krueger) Schmitt in Comfrey, MN. She received her first communion from St. Paul Catholic Church and graduated from Comfrey High School in 1940. After graduation she worked in St. James. Arline married Henry Radunz in Sherburn, MN on December 23, 1942. They lived in St. James, Marshall, Hanley Falls, Wood Lake and Cottonwood. While living in the Marshall area she worked at Southwest State University in the food service department. In 1993 she moved to Farmington to be closer to family. Arline enjoyed watching the Minnesota Twins and Timberwolves, dancing, cooking, driving around the countryside and gambling. Arline Radunz died Friday, June 15, 2007 at the Three Links Care Center in Northfield, MN at the age of 86. She is survived by her children - Karen and husband George Willey of Bloomington, Rita and husband Dale Daggett of Apple Valley, Patricia and husband Donald Soland of North St. Paul, Mary and husband Glen Hammerly of Cottage Grove, Phyllis and husband Johnny Austin of Brooklyn Center, Catherine and husband William Pflanz of Lakeville; 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; sister - Cleo Arndt of Winneabago; brothers - Delmar Schmitt of South St. Paul and Henry and wife Norma of Winneabago; cousins and many friends. Arline is preceded in death by her parents Henry and Hattie Schmitt, husband - Henry, brothers Earl and Ralph Schmitt.
