Arline Ann Groebner was born November 8, 1918 in Sundown Township, the daughter of Henry and Elizabeth (Liebl) Landkammer. On October 26, 1937 she married Henry V. Groebner at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Clements, MN. They farmed in Sundown Township, New Avon Township and later purchased the family farm in 1947. They retired and moved into Springfield in 1980. Arline was a former member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Clements, and a current member of St. Raphael's Catholic Church inSpringfield. She became a resident at Gil-Mor Manor in Morgan in August of 2003. Arline enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, embroidering, old time music and dancing. Arline will be remembered for her love of life. Arline died on Wednesday, December 29, 2004 at Gil-Mor Manor in Morgan at the age of 86 years. She will be remembered by her children - Donna and husband Irvin Plotz of Clements, James and wife Elizabeth Groebner of Princeton, and Dennis and wife Karen Groebner of Clements; a daughter-in-law - Delores and husband Pat Nelsen of Clements; 19 grandchildren; 55 great grandchildren; a brother - Jerome and wife Arline Landkammer of Clements; sisters-in-law - Adeline Nelsen, Ella Kraemer, and Irene Culhane; a brother-in-law - Anthony Groebner and a special friend - Roman Roiger of Springfield. She ispreceded in death by her parents; husband Henry V. Groebner in November of 1990 and a son Eugene in 1988.
