Arleen Joyce Junker was born February 23, 1928 at Elm Creek Township, the daughter of Arthur Ruby (Love) Junker. She was baptized and confirmed at Galen church. They moved to the Ormsby area when Arleen was in the 4th grade, she graduated from high school in St. James in 1945. On June 10, 1948, she was united in marriage to Kenneth Randby. Arleen worked for several years at the Ormsby Farmers Grain Co. She did sewing and alterations for many years before starting quilting. She was a founding member of the Prairie Star Quilting Club in Fairmont. She made many quilts for the church bazaar, gave quilts to family, friends and for those special events and causes that were important to her. Arleen enjoyed reading and playing cards but loved spending time with her family, grandkids and many friends. Arleen is survived by her children; Jerry (Chris) Randby of St. James, Wendy Tintes of Buffalo, Dave (Kat) Randby of St. James, Jim Randby of Jackson, 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, siblings; Robert (Ruby) Junker of Hopkinsville, KY, Joanne Seward of Pekin, IL, Dale (Fran) Junker of Henderson, KY, Roger (Nancy) Junker of Hopkinsville, KY, brother-in-law; Larry Randby of Beebe, AR.
