Arland Edward Kettner

Arland Edward Kettner was born on March 4, 1928 to Edward and Emma (Wetzel) Kettner in Springfield, MN.  He attended rural School #48 through 7th grade and then attended and graduated from Springfield High School.  On April 20, 1950, Arland married Gloria Buggert in Springfield. The couple resided on a farm near Comfrey where Arland farmed all his life. Arland also worked for Balzer Manufacturing in Mt. Lake.  He enjoyed gardening, hunting, coffee with friends, golfing, and traveling.  Arland was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church where he has held various offices and was involved with Men in Mission.

Arland died on Monday, May 8, 2023, at St. John Lutheran Home in Springfield, MN at the age of 95.

He is survived by his children - Daniel Kettner of rural Comfrey and LeAnn Ravenberg of New Ulm; grandchildren - Paul (Christie) Ravenberg of Sartell and Julie Ravenberg of Duluth; great grandchildren - Katelyn, Brandt, and Ashlyn.  Arland was preceded in death by his parents, wife Gloria and son-in-law Larry Ravenberg.
