Arla Lorraine Lehnert

Arla Lorraine Lehnert was born March 25, 1924 the daughter of Edward and Emma (Utecht) Krenz in Sleepy Eye, MN. She attended and graduated from Sleepy Eye Public High School. Arla then continued her education at the Minneapolis Institute of Art for 1 year. She married Elmer Lehnert on June 21, 1944 at the St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church in Sleepy Eye. Arla spent her time golfing, playing bridge, creating and sculpting art and in her younger years dancing with Elmer. Arla L. Lehnert age 92, of Sleepy Eye, Minnesota died on October 25, 2016, at the Sleepy Eye Care Center. Arla is survived by her 2 nephews, Mr. & Mrs. Alan Krenz of Oregon and Brian Krenz of California, niece LaNita Krenz of California, Elmer's niece and nephew, Janice (Rory) Deutchman and Daryl (Cindy) Pischner, special friends, Don (Cathy) Tauer of Morgan and Dave (Sharon) Carr of Sleepy Eye and many other friends and relatives. She is preceded in death by her husband in 2009,parents, brother Dennis Krenz and her beloved Labradors, Cap and Raven.
