Araidne Trapp

Araidne Ardene Trapp was born May 13, 1929 in Galena Township near Ormsby, the daughter of Herbert and Margaretha (Wacker) Jaster. She attended and graduated from St. James High School. On February 5, 1950 she married Deburt Hanneman in St. James, MN. Delburt died on November 30, 1973. On December 22, 1973 she married Wilmar Trapp in Sanborn. Wilmar died on June 17, 1980. Ardene was a homemaker and also worked at various establishments in Sanborn, including managing the meal site in Sanborn for several years. Ardene was a member of the Zion Ev. Lutheran Church in Sanborn, Ladies Aid, Sanborn American Legion Auxiliary, and taught Sunday School. She loved gardening, flowers, watching and feeding birds, and visiting with her many friends. Her greatest joys were her religion, children, grandchildren, and her great grandchild. Araidne died on September 5, 2005 at the Valley View Manor Care Center in Lamberton at the age of 76 years. She is survived by her children - Daryl and wife Shirley Hanneman of Cedar Rapids, IA and their children - Heidi and Holly; Bonnie and husband Charles Radel of Sanborn, MN and their children - Sean, Shannon, Steven, John, Philip, Joel, and Andrew; and David and wife Melanie Hanneman of Sanborn and their child - Angela; a sister - Marilyn Baarts of St. James; a sister-in-law - Carol Jaster; nieces - Lisa and Kristi; and a nephew - Mark. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband - Delburt in 1973 and Wilmar in 1980, a brother - Herbert Jaster Jr; a brother-in-law - Lyle Baarts; and a grandson - Scott Radel.
