Anthony William Guza otherwise known as "Butch", age 78, of Sleepy Eye peacefully was called home on Sunday February 15, 2015 with his family at his side. Butch was born on April 18, 1936 at the Wanda hospital in Wanda Minnesota to Alice (Garrow) and Anthony Guza Sr. Butch married his wife, Beverly Ann Webskowski on October 21, 1955. In which they were able to make memories of a life time for over 59 years. To this union were born two daughters, Brenda and Tracy. Seven precious grandchildren have added to this joy while bringing a new source of pride for Grandpa Butch. Being the dedicated worker that he was, he committed himself to serving his customers to meet there satisfaction no matter what time it was, morning or night. He drove his propane truck with great pride down many gravel roads approaching numerous farm places where we would rekindle friendships along with meeting many new faces who were soon to be acquaintances who he would meet and greet on the street. Butch faithfully worked for the MV Propane Division which later became Cenex for 47 years. His attitude and hard work created memories for many of " Butch the gas man". Butch enjoyed the good and the bad days of delivering propane. Butch enjoyed spending time at the Mathiowetz Body Shop and Zarn's Garage, cruising around town in his little black low rider, which he was so proud of and just watching any activity out of his living room window. Cars were a passion for Butch from the time he started driving at the age of 12. He always took great pride in every vehicle he owned. Butch also enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was one who didn't say much but one could always tell he enjoyed the time together. He would bring a smile to one's face when he did speak by sharing his words of wisdom, turning small talk into memorable memories. Butch is survived by his wife, Beverly and their children Brenda (Greg) Gluth along with their children Travis (Kim), Lance (special friend Jenna Friton), Brady and the late Kristin Ann of Sleepy Eye.
