Annette Feirer was born July 21, 1923 in Springfield, MN to William A. and Anna (Struemke) Ochs. Following her formal education, she worked in California during World War II at Kaiser Steel. Annette then worked at the Office of Price Administration (OPA) in Minneapolis - a government job accepting applications for rations for sugar, food and tires. She later worked at Central Lumber as a bookkeeper and accountant, and later at Investors Diversified Services (IDS) in accounting. Annette was united in marriage to Linus 'Pete' Feirer on May 30, 1953 at St. Raphael's Catholic Church in Springfield. The couple made their home on Pete's home farm in Leavenworth Township for many years. Annette was a member of St. Raphael's Catholic Church and the CCW and volunteered for many activities at St. Raphael's Church and school. She enjoyed dark chocolate, sewing and bookkeeping. She is survived by her children- Allan and wife Yvonne Feirer of Bowlus, Linnea Barron of St. Cloud, and David Feirer of Springfield; grandchildren- Alex and Natalie Barron; brother Norbert and wife Rosie Ochs of Walker; and long-time family friend Sophie Hillesheim Kral. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Linus in 2004; brothers- Leo, Vincent, Russell, and Gerard Ochs; sister Delores Ochs; a sister in infancy; and infant grandson Andrew Barron.
