Ann Unruh, age 91, of Mt. Lake, passed away at the Good Samaritan Society in Windom on Thursday, May 27, 2021. Ann Nora Harder was born on May 20, 1930 near Bingham Lake, Minnesota the daughter of Frank and Sarah (Hiebert) Harder. She graduated from Mt. Lake High School in 1948 and attended Mankato Commercial College. Ann worked as a bookkeeper for Standard Oil and Berreth Publications. She work for 2 years in the Mennonite Brethren Conference office in Hillsboro. Ann was united in marriage to Kenneth Unruh on August 19, 1952. The couple had 4 children. She was faithful supporting her husband's calling to serve as pastor. She was often called on to do many church activities and was a gracious host to visiting clergy. Ann is survived by her husband Kenneth Unruh of Windom, children; Gerald (Doris) Unruh of New Ulm, Robert (Patricia) Unruh of Blackhawk, CO, Michael (Ashlie) Unruh of Coeur d'Alene, ID, sister, Doris Dueck of Brazil, 11 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Shirley (Ron) Hiebert of Olathe, KS and a son-in-law Gordon Dietel of Norwood Young America. She is preceded in death by her daughter Audrey Dietel, parents, sisters; Gladys, Ella, Evelyn, and Martha.
